Temporary lives create a simple problem: once the stream ends, the replay may not be available.
If nobody recorded the live while it was happening, there may be no full MP4 to retrieve later.
Why a replay may be missing
A Clapper live replay can be unavailable because:
- the creator did not save or publish it
- the platform removed it
- the live ended before a replay was generated
- the replay is private or limited
- the stream had technical problems
Can you recover a missing replay?
Usually no. A live must be captured while it is happening. After it disappears, a recorder cannot reconstruct the original video.
The only exception is if someone already recorded it and still has the file.
How to avoid missing the next one
Add the creator to ClapRec:
/watch username
ClapRec will monitor future lives and send the MP4 to Telegram after the live ends.
Can I browse old recordings?
Yes. Use latest recordings or search creator pages from the creator archive. If a recording is public, you can open it through Telegram.
What if I need a specific creator?
Open their creator page if it exists, or add them to your watchlist so future lives are captured automatically.
