Once ClapRec sends a recording to Telegram, you have a normal MP4 file. You can forward it, download it, or keep it in your saved messages.
How you share it matters. Private sharing for personal viewing is different from reposting someone else's live publicly.
Forward in Telegram
Forwarding inside Telegram is the fastest option. It keeps the file in Telegram and avoids re-encoding by another app.
Use this when the recipient also uses Telegram and you want the least friction.
Download and send the MP4
You can download the MP4 from Telegram and send it through another app, upload it to cloud storage, or import it into an editor.
This is useful when you need trimming, captions, or a local backup.
Avoid unnecessary re-compression
Some apps compress videos aggressively. If quality matters, send the file as a document or use a cloud link instead of posting it as a compressed chat video.
Be careful with public reposts
Do not repost a creator's full live publicly unless you have permission. The creator may own copyright, the live may include guests, and music or private information can create extra risk.
Can I share a preview image?
Yes. Preview contact sheets are useful because they show what is inside the live without uploading the entire MP4 again.
What is the best practice?
For personal use, forward or save the Telegram MP4. For public use, ask the creator and share only what you have rights to share.
